BeeCloud - 512Gb of Free Online Cloud Backup

We store huge amount of precious data on our computers everyday - be it official documents, personal videos, personal music or personal photos taken during unique occasions. Most of us have lost many of them and then thought we should have backed them up before. But for many people, this is like a cycle, they regret everytime they lose files and keep on loosing files. There are reasons why they cannot backup all of their files.

I lost recently some very important files - my academic project database files, which resulted in changing the academic project in the week before the deadline for submission. So while searching for a solution to store every precious contents (I had around 90 GB of data), I found couple of solutions, such as ZumoDrive, SugarSync et cetera. BeeCloud was one of them, but something kept it out of the line - it was precicely the All-in-One solution which I was looking for.

I considered everything below before choosing BeeCloud as my solution.

Security: BeeCloud is a reseller of LiveDrive, one of the most famous high-end backup solution providers. Data will be stored redundantly on the LiveDrive servers, so that you will never lose the files again.

Accessibility: How would it be if you could access your data from your PC, Mac, iPhone, and your Android device? It would be brilliant, wouldn't it? BeeCloud lets you do it. You can access your data through the web, too.
Their Briefcase system (available in selected paid plans only) gets you another drive with 512 GB of space, with which you can access that data just like you do on your HDD or Flashdrive. Yes, you can just drag-n-drop files and browse files just like you do on regular physical drives!

Reliability: Let's consider the speed. I don't have a 10 Mbit internet connection here, in a small town in India. Still, speed is what gives meaning to the backed up data. So I did some research on the internet, and would like to share a single post by madeinheaven, which made me lean towards BeeCloud in the case of reliability

Well i am just now backing up my files speed is not to bad same as my FTP uplading speed but download speed is much faster and work with IDM.

Affordability: I could goto eBay and get two 512 GB USB powered drives, which provides redundancy, with an enormous accessibility and reliability. Why did I choose BeeCloud over that? It would have costed me too much to buy the drives - at least around $150-$160 in India. I don't have that money to pay for it. BeeCloud provides free storage. However, all my files are fairly small in size, so that I can download my files whenever I need even with my 512Kbps connection.

God of War: Betrayal fills in the gaps between the first two God of War games, when Kratos defeated Ares to claim an Olympian throne and got something of a big head about it.
In telling the tale of Kratos' rise before a spectacular fall at the beginning of God of War II, many will tremble at the feet of this warrior-god and many a god will be displeased.
Kratos' first mobile adventure is a 2D side-scroller, not entirely unlike those we saw during the glory days of the 16-bit generation. But it's important to note right away that God of War:Betrayal is not just a cookie-cutter platformer with Kratos pasted over some other non-descript hero.

This is God of War, through and through. The action and puzzle elements are very much true to the original PS2 games - this really is an extension of the God of War universe.
Kratos is all about action, so expect to jam on the 5 button regularly to use his brutal attacks. His default weapon, the chain swords (Athena's Blades) whip all around the screen, slicing up enemies, tossing them into the air, and leaving them on the floor in a crumpled mess...
You do not have as many combo possibilities in God of War: Betrayal as you did in God of War II, but there are still several combos such as running into an enemy as you unleash the chain swords. Kratos has access to several other choice weapons, such as Medusa's Head, Army of Hades, and the Blade of Artemis. Each one of these weapons or magic attacks have their own strengths against numerous underlings or vicious boss monsters.

Getting our hands on the mobile version of Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series has been one of the highlights of the Leipzig Games Convention.

But while we're happy to enthuse about our time with the game and the related chat we had with Konami producer Axel de Roug? (we'll be publishing a full interview soon so click 'Track It!' to get an email alert), it's great to be finally able to share the first screenshots.

For one thing, they clearly show the amount of time and effort the Paris-based development team has taken in giving this 2D Java game the Pro Evo look.

In addition to the well defined players, extra touches include pitch-side detail such as the coaches' area, weather conditions (rain and snow), and extend to the patterns of the way the grass has been cut, of which there are five examples. And when you score a goal, the net will ripple, too.

Despite this level of attention, though, something that's harder to show from these screenshots is the quality of player animations. They're one of the most important technical aspects of the game, as they link deeply into the fluid nature of the controls.

Indeed, so important where they considered that the decision was made to concentrate on animations over and above the game's graphics, with each separate animation consisting of up to nine individual frames.

It's something best shown up in close-up, as these cropped high-resolution screens of various players in motion demonstrate. We especially like the evil sliding tackle from behind and the resulting 'kicked up in the air' look.

What does the application do?
Cost-effective and efficient tool to track several mobile phones in a remote SQL database.

Aspicore GSM Tracker is an S60 application, which makes the smartphone into a real-time AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) tracking device.

The application determines the location with a Bluetooth GPS receiver and transmits the tracking data to a server in real-time through a cellular packet data connection. The data connection to the server is usually made via the Internet.

System description and purpose:
Typically server stores the received tracking data into a SQL database. The data can be visualized with simple map software, (e.g. Google Maps, Google Earth) or it can be linked to a professional fleet management system or a mobile workforce management system.

Individual users can use Aspicore GSM Tracker for personal location tracking. They can e.g. automatically publish their current location and daily track on their web page.

Features:
You don't even need necessarily to have as many GPS receivers as tracked mobile phones, if a lower accuracy suffices and there are only a few places or standard routes you want to have recognised. The location of the mobile phone can also be determined by the network cell id, which identifies the cell tower the phone is connected to.

You can configure the timers and events, which trigger the data send action. The data is sent in a compact UDP datagram, only a little over 100 packet data bytes per message. This means that the data transfer costs are minimal compared to e.g. SMS and the communication transactions are very fast.

Location tracking system:
The central database can be a powerful SQL engine, which handles hundreds of mobile tracking targets. (Depending on the tracking frequency and resolution.) The database accumulates position data from the mobile phones being tracked. Each record in the database is identified by the IMEI code of the phone the data belongs to.

The location data is collected to an industry standard SQL database. This makes it straightforward to integrate with the rest of your company data systems.

If you are not using a GPS receiver, you must first create a mapping from the network cell ID to a geographical location. Unless you get the cell tower location lists from your mobile operator, you can collect the data yourself by driving around the places you want to have recognised by the system and have Aspicore GSM Tracker and a Bluetooth GPS to record the GPS coordinates of the network cells.

When the system is eventually being used, the mobile will report its network cell information to the system server by using Aspicore GSM Tracker. The server compares the network cell information to the accumulated data and converts it to an estimated geographical location. This way you can track your sales representatives, delivery men, children etc without them needing to carry a GPS receiver with them.

When using HTTP protocol, the coordinates are now correctly signed
also in the range of from -0.99 degrees to 0 degrees. (In earlier
version, the program always used positive sign for the coordinate
values between -0.99 degrees and 0.99 degrees, when HTTP protocol was
used. This was a problem e.g. in London.)

The occassional slow application exit problem should be now solved.
The problem was correlated with an unexpected break in the packet
data connection.

This useful application will let you record incoming and outgoing phone calls. CallRecorder can start recording automatically or ask whether to record a conversation or not - this will depend on the rules you set.

How to start:
First, you should turn CallRecorder on. To do this, press Options and select Settings command. In Settings dialog you can turn CallRecorder on and set up some options;
After that you should set rules for CallRecorder - considering these rules the application will or will not record phone calls;

Main view:
You can find all recorded phone conversations in the main view of CallRecorder. The following functions are available here:

Play record. You can change the volume with joystick left/right arrows while a record is being played. To change speaker from loud to quiet or vice versa set an option Play volume in Settings dialog to a corresponding value;
Call a contact or a phone number. If the highlighted record has a phone number, you can dial it even without exiting CallRecorder - just press Call button or select this command;
Send via Infrared/Bluetooth/Email/MMS you can send the recorded conversation with the help of this command;
View contact (hot key: '*') displays a dialog with a contact;
Properties (hot key: '5') displays a dialog with record's detailed properties;
Delete (hot key: 'C') deletes marked records;
Delete all (hot key: 'Pen+C');
Pack deletes all records that don't have a sound file;
Refresh actualizes the list of records;
Records that don't have a sound file are marked by red color.

In this dialog you can set the following options:
Activate (Turn on / turn off);
Record format (amr / wav);
Sound folder - a folder where recorded files will be stored;
Max record time (unlimited / MM:SS);
Play volume (loud / quiet);

You can set the following rules in this dialog:
Default - this rule will be put into action if none of the active rules is used;
Unknown - if the caller's number cannot be defined this rule will be used;
Contact - you can set a separate rule for a specific contact;
Group - a rule for a group of contacts;
Phone - a rule for a phone number. You can use a mask for phone numbers. A match pattern can contain wildcard characters "*" and "?", where "*" matches zero or more consecutive occurrences of any character and "?" matches a single occurrence of any character.
Example:
'*77' - all numbers ending at 77;
'877*' - all numbers beginning with 877;
'12?34' - all numbers like 12034, 12134 ... 12934;
You can set the following Actions for each rule:

Ask before record - if this action is selected, CallRecorder will ask you wheather to record a phone call or not;
Record incoming calls - record of all incoming calls is allowed;
Record outgoing calls - record of all outgoing calls is allowed;
Note: If you haven't chosen a single action or have chosen only Ask before record, this rule will be disabled.

Importing a skin
All JPG files on the phone are listed here. However, the search for the files may take some time, the process is indicated by the rotating circle at the bottom of the screen.
Select a file by pressing the joystick to use it as a skin. It will take some time to import it. Press Back to save the selected skin.

Warning --> A New Symbian Trojan That Locks The Phone MMC Card

SymbOS/Cardblock.A (http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/cardblock_a.shtml) is a Symbian trojan that is the first known trojan to attack phones MMC card. SymbOS/Cardtrap.A (http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/cardtrap_a.shtml) used phones MMC card in trying to get users PC infected with Win32 malware, but Cardblock.A is the first one that actually attacks the MMC card itself.

SymbOS/Cardblock.A is a trojanized version of Symbian application InstantSis created by Biscompute.

When installed Cardblock.A appears be a CRACKED version of InstantSis providing user with ability to repack already installed SIS files and copy them to another device.

However when user tries to use Cardblock.A to copy an application, a payload triggers that blocks the MMC memory card of the phone and deletes critical system and mail directories.

Blocking the memory card is done by setting a random password to the card. So that after the phone has been once rebooted, the card is no longer accessible on the phone or any other device, without entering a password. And as the password is a random code, that is not provided to user, the card and it's contents are unusable until unlocked.

Deleting system directories destroys information about installed applications, users MMS and SMS messages, phone numbers stored on the phone and other critical system data. Which means that user loses access to applications he has installed into the phone, and his phone numbers and other important data.

Some phone such as Nokia 6670 and Nokia 6600 survive from deletion of system directories quite easily, just a reboot and phone is usable. But the user data and MMC card are still lost.

Unfortunately some phones that use newer versions of Symbian OS, such as Nokia 6630 are hit harder. These phones will fail to reboot and display message that requests the phone to be taken to maintenance. However the phone can be recovered with special hard format key combination.

The picture in this blog entry is from one such phone. The message is in Finnish which translated in English means, "Connection to phone failed, please contact supplier of the phone". The interesting bit is that we had the phone set in English when infecting it, but the Cardblock.A damages the OS so badly, that after reboot it even doesn't remember which language it should use.

Database update for F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus (http://www.f-secure.com/wireless/download/) has been published and it is capable of detecting and removing Cardblock.A. We are still working on how to get locked MMC cards functional again.

Needless to say that the Cardblock.A is not a threat to people who don't use pirate copied software, as it pretends to be a pirate copied version of commercial application.

You can find all recorded phone conversations in the main view of CallRecorder. The following functions are available here:

Play record. You can change the volume with joystick left/right arrows while a record is being played. To change speaker from loud to quiet or vice versa set an option Play volume in Settings dialog to a corresponding value;
Call a contact or a phone number. If the highlighted record has a phone number, you can dial it even without exiting CallRecorder - just press Call button or select this command;
Send via Infrared/Bluetooth/Email/MMS you can send the recorded conversation with the help of this command;

Phone - a rule for a phone number. You can use a mask for phone numbers. A match pattern can contain wildcard characters "*" and "?", where "*" matches zero or more consecutive occurrences of any character and "?" matches a single occurrence of any character.
Example:
'*77' - all numbers ending at 77;
'877*' - all numbers beginning with 877;
'12?34' - all numbers like 12034, 12134 ... 12934;
You can set the following Actions for each rule:

Ask before record - if this action is selected, CallRecorder will ask you wheather to record a phone call or not;
Record incoming calls - record of all incoming calls is allowed;

RACCOON {host a website on your mobile phone}

Raccoon consists of two parts: a Symbian port of the Apache httpd web
server and a "connector" that together with a gateway provides a
mobile phone with a global name in the operator networks of today.

In short, you can now host a website on your mobile phone that is
accessible from any web browser on the Internet.

NOTE: 1) The software is a research prototype, so do not use the
system unless you can accept occasional crashes or other
glitches.
2) The cost for browsing to the website on your phone is
payed by you, not by the one browsing.
3) Once you have installed the software and are online, the
website on your mobile phone is accessible by anyone (who
knows your URL).

The software has been developed using Nokia 6630 and should work on
any other S60 2nd Edition Feature Pack 2 device and probably will work
on any FP3 device. It will not work on a vanilla 2nd Edition or FP1

browse to 127.0.0.1 using the browser on your phone. Note that it
requires a fair amount of RAM and thus may not work on all phone

Customizing your mobsite (mobile website)
------------------------
In the root of the installation drive you will find the directory
'\Apache' that contains the typical Apache httpd directories 'conf',
'htdocs' and 'logs'. In addition there is the directory 'mod_python'
that contains a few simple examples of Python and PSP scripting.

When creating a website on a mobile phone, remember that the
processing power and the available network bandwidth will always be
lower, and the latency and cost (connectivity, battery, relative
resource consumption) will always be higher than that of a stationary
web server.

However, a website on a mobile phone resides on a personal device
whose owner is always nearby and where the context - location, people
around you, mode of the phone, etc. - constantly changes. Thus there
is ample opportunity to create a website that would be exceedingly
hard or impossible to duplicate using a regular stationary web server.

messages - and modules for sending instant and inbox messages to the
phone, and a module for finding mobile websites in the proximity. Note
that these are concept demos and not really rich enough to be used for
real.

YTime provides you with a high accurate and a modern graphical designed Time Machine.

Main features:
Analog Clock

The current YTime version supports two different clock appearances (skins).
The second-hand can tick in two different ways, one is normal step style which is used in quartz clocks and the other is the smooth style often seen in automatic clocks.
You can hide or show the second-hand.
It is also possible to switch off the screensaver with backlight always on, useful in a conference to have always a big clock in view.
If your phone system time is running out of sync, YTime correct it easily with an atomic clock.

Tip:

Press the Pencil(ABC)-key in the phone or menu application and the clock appears as long as you press the key. Only available, if the YTime clock is running in the background.

Stopwatch

9 different stopwatches are available. They are selectable with the Right-Left Arrow- Keys.
Start or stop the timer by pressing the Enter-Key.
YTime remembers all running timers and are still available after phone or program restart.

Earth

The Earth is shown as a globe, with your home city in the middle.
Multiple earth maps are supported.
Rotation and Zooming are supported.
The time for the Earth view is changeable with the Number-Keys
The Arrow-Keys are moving a cursor over the Earth.
The nearest city is shown as a red dot in the map. The city name is displayed in the title pane with the city time and latitude and longitude position coordinates.
More current city information is displayed in a specific dialog: Sunrise, Sunset, capital?
In the map top-left corner, the coordinates from current cursor position is displayed. In the top-right corner, the current time for the earth map is shown.

Moon

· The Moon view shows the phase of the Moon as seen from the Earth.

· The title pane displays the percentage of the Moon illuminated. At New Moon the percent illuminated is 0. Full Moon means 100%.

· Date and time for the next Moon mean phases is also supported.

Use the Arrow-Keys or Number-Keys to change the date and time, to search for a specific Moon appearance.

Languages

Supported languages are English and German. If you want to translate it to your native language, please contact the author.

Quick Guide:

* Default hotkeys to record, stop, play ans pause are "#0", "#7", "#1" and "#8".
* Or press abc/pen three times to start/stop recording.
* Use left/right key to mark multiple clips for sending.
* Open Ultimate Voice Recorder and press "Options->Settings" to change hotkeys and other options such as recording limit, recording format, automatic recording of phone calls, automatic deletion of clips.
* After your phone powers up, wait until the tape icon appears on the bottom of the phone before using hotkeys! If no tape icon appears after a few minutes, launch Ultimate Voice Recorder and exit, then the tape icon will appear and hotkeys will be ready.
* Set recording limit to 0 if you need unlimited length recording. The actual recording length depends on the free disk space.
* You can also launch Ultimate Voice Recorder directly to perform recording and playbacks.
* Open Ultimate Voice Recorder to browse and edit all the recorded memo and phone call clips.
* Press "Options->Settings" to adjust hidden mode to specify when to show the tape icon - always, never or only while idle.
* To use Nokia PC suite software to copy recorded clips to your PC, open the "c:\nokia\UltimateVR" and "e:\UltimateVR" directories on your phone in the file explorer of the PC suite. All the recorded clips are in those two directories.

Steps:
Make a text file in your PC.Write in following order in text file:

Tab + [ your bluethooth Name ] + Tab
(TAB Means You Need to press tab button on your keyboard.)

Save this text file in PC and send to your mobile.
Now you are ready to use your file.
Open text file and copy, now paste it in to your Bluethooth name.
Now your mobile is ready for the show.
Rename your bluetooth name by pasting the text you have selected in the text file.
Now switch on ur bluetooth, whenever anybody tries to search nearby bluetooh devices to send files, his phone will restart .
This process will go on and on if he tries to send u files.
